You Too Can Help Captain Book

  • Donate new and/or gently used books for children of all ages with an emphasis on pre-school, kindergarten and primary grades ($35 pays for 15 books).

  • Donate materials and/or labor to build treasure chests ($35 pays for the materials to build a treasure chest).

  • Donate costume jewelry or other objects suitable for decorating treasure chests.

  • Donate money for Captain Book and his crew to buy books, build treasure chests and keep the Good Ship Literacy on the road ($35 pays for 10 gallons of fuel for the Good Ship Literacy).

All donations designated for The Treasure Chest Literacy Program are exclusively utilized within the literacy program and are fully tax deductible. The program is supported through fundraisers, grants, donated books and monetary gifts. Its financial records are open to the public.
